Westwood Security Shutters have today announced a finger scanner reader that can be used to open roller shutters, retractable security gates and security doors. The device can be programmed to operate as a door release mechanism depending on the application.

The finger scanner light is the modern alternative to keyless access systems.

The biometric access offers a high security and combines with simple operation and programming via DIP switches for access by up to 20 individuals. The programming takes just a few seconds and is an ideal way of managing access and security issues where security of premises is paramount.
