Westwood Security Shutters Ltd have added to their extensive product line a new type of Transparent Roller Shutter. The Shutter boasts 100mm clear panes manufactured from polycarbonate panels which are sandwiched between aluminium lathes.
Sales Director Matt Sands says: ‘It took us considerable time and effort to come up with a product that is durable, robust and practical enough for the damp weather in the UK. People are trying to move away from the old steel shutters and have come to terms with the fact that they still need to protect their businesses, so feel, image and appearance are paramount.”
With recent developments in technology Westwood believe that they have stolen a march on competitors in the Roller Shutter industry. They have already had enquires from Europe and that is prior to the products being fully released and publicised.
